Wiring for Industrial Controls, Inc. (WIC), is a customer service oriented panel and cable assembly manufacturer. Our mission is to keep quality as a priority, be cost efficient, and listen to the customer’s real needs. Through investing in our employees and utilizing our collective experience we promise to provide the best possible customer service and quality to our customers.

Robert D. Johnson, the owner of WIC has 35 years experience in the industrial market place. Bob is on the pulse of all that goes on with our customers and normally visits our large industrial customers on a weekly to bi-weekly schedule.

The plant has 14 employees currently; our forecast for the 2007 year is to increase that number to 18-20 employees. On staff we have electrical engineers, electrical assemblers, and wireman.

Our current engineering experience and services available are as follows:

  • 40 years combined experience with Cincinnati Milacron/Machine machine tool experience
  • Experienced design and electrical engineers on staff
  • Worldwide service engineers are available (subcontracted-rates vary)
  • Wire assemblers and wireman onsite rate is $45.00
  • Same day ability to be onsite
  • UL 508 certified Panel Shop
Four of the electrical assemblers and wireman employed at WIC came from Cincinnati Milacron/Machine, thus helping increase the knowledge base of the machine tool experience. They understand the need for quality workmanship and strive to let no error be overlooked. All of our employees are skilled on every aspect of machinery building guidelines, dissecting engineering drawings, and testing devices, so we can be prepared in case of illnesses or vacation time. We also offer our assemblers and wireman to our customers for onsite jobs.

The purchasing department of W.I.C. has over 20 years of industrial buying experience. They work closely with their vendors and customers to insure the best product availability awareness. With North American and European contacts they are well established at locating hard to find product, and help in introducing new alternatives to problem products. Being cost efficient is the main goal of the purchasing department at WIC. By keeping a close eye on copper pricing and company buyouts, we have helped our prices stay level.
